The Skinny: Spike by Ike
This is the first installment of a regular column I’m entitling “The Skinny.” Pages like Kickstarter and Indiegogo have emptied many a tech’s wallet as of late. Need I remind everyone of HackRF? Probably not. This column will be dedicated to sorting through and finding those cool new toys we all dream of greeting us on Christmas morning.
For this first article may I present Spike by Ike. Ike is a company that has been making range finding/GPS locating/imaging equipment the past few years. The company now wants to bring its resources to the consumer market. Here, just watch the video on the Kickstarter page and drool.
Do you want to know how big that building is? Done. Trying to get the volume of your tool shed? You’re one picture away. Do you really need to know how tall and wide that McDonald’s sign is on the interstate? No, but you can know anyway, and with laser accuracy! I think many of us may be $300 lighter by the end of 30 days.
For the Caffeine Addict in Your Life
I have one last parting shot of interest. This is for my caffeine addicted, monster drinking coworkers and friends. It appears that drinking is just too slow.
