Welcome to your introduction into the field of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM). This two and a half day course is for anyone that supports, manages, or employs TSCM personnel or teams.
The first half of the course explores how the adversary may choose to employ a technical surveillance operation against your facility, infrastructure, or personnel. Students will learn what sorts of tools the adversary uses, how physical security is compromised, and what level of effort the adversary leverages to accomplish their goals.
The second half of the course details how TSCM teams counter the adversary, what tools and techniques are utilized during an investigation, and how a TSCM team can be best supported during operational activities. The course also explores what constraints a TSCM team may face and what expectations a client should have.
As with any Skinny R&D course, both halves of the class are full of interactive content and hands-on labs to assist in learning. Students can expect to interact with TSCM and surveillance gear to understand not only strategic level concepts, but also tactical level constraints.
